Why 'Free' Church?
It's the first question everybody asks!
Our name points to the church's historic belief that they were free to follow Christ according to their conscience, rather than have the church controlled by the government. Because Market Bosworth is a bit small to have a church for every non-conformist denomination, the church agreed at its beginning to be a mix of all the free churches: Baptists, Methodists, URC (and a few others...).
We run ourselves, making all the decisions about what we do in our church meetings through God's guidance, and we are in association with the Baptist Union of Great Britain.

What do we believe?
To put it very simply Christians all believe in three things:
1. There is a God
2. God touched the world 2000 years ago in Jesus Christ
3. That matters!
